The trial of the governor of Sardinia Christian Solinas , accused of abuse of office in the investigation into the appointments of two general directors of the regional administration : Silvia Curto as president and Antonio Pasquale Belloi to the Civil Protection.

The panel of the second criminal section of the Cagliari court presided over by judge Giovanni Massidda accepted the request for the unification of the proceedings with that of the former regional councilor for general affairs, Valeria Satta , indicted for trial for the same affair with the hypotheses of abuse of office in competition with Solinas and attempted extortion.

His trial will begin, precisely, on March 9 , but that too will be postponed to April so that they coincide in the same hearing and reunite them. During the preliminary hearing, the Gup Ermengarda Ferrarese had instead sentenced the head of the cabinet of the presidency of the Region, Maria Grazia Vivarelli, to two years and eight months, who had chosen to be judged with the abbreviated procedure. She is accused of abuse of office and solicitation.
