Guido Angelozzi is the new sporting director of Spezia, a team awaiting the start of the new season in Serie C after their recent relegation. The former Cagliari manager thus finds a new team just weeks after his contract with the Rossoblu ended, with president Tommaso Giulini having decided to replace him with Pietro Accardi .

For Angelozzi, this is a return to Spezia, where he spent the two-year period from 2018 to 2020, culminating in a historic promotion to Serie A. He then spent five years at Frosinone until 2025, when he moved to Sardinia.

"The choice was clear from the very beginning: Angelozzi was our primary objective and remains so," said Spezia president Charlie Stillitano. The Catania-born manager, born in 1955, has signed a contract until June 30, 2029, and has simultaneously terminated his contract with Cagliari .
