The replacement of Giorgio Oppi , the UDC leader who died on July 26 last year, was made official in the Regional Council of Sardinia. Alice Aroni takes his place, second of the non-elected in the UDC constituency of Cagliari on the occasion of the regional of 2019.

The court, before the oath, observed a minute of silence in memory of Oppi.
