"In the meeting held last week at the Ministry of Labor, the trade unions had to take note of the lack of solutions for the difficult Air Italy dispute. One week after that meeting, also thanks to the proactive pressure of the parties social workers and institutions concerned, the extraordinary commissioners have communicated that they will structure an intervention with the property to request the extension of the extraordinary redundancy fund, in order to secure the economic and social stability of the approximately 1,400 workers, given the actions that have been put in place with the request for amendments to the maneuver, to prevent the escape of male and female workers from the working perimeter ".

This was announced in a press release by Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uiltrasporti and Ugl Air transport, at the end of the table in which the Regions of Sardinia and Lombardy also took part.

"The table has been updated to next December 9, in order to grasp any solutions that could be effective following the definition of the economic coverage to be provided for in the budget law", concluded the trade unions.

By that date, it is hoped that Parliament will approve the amendments contained in the Agenda within the maneuver, under discussion in these days, to align the position of Air Italy employees with those of Alitalia , whose Cigs will expire on 31 December 2022.
