The shooter is a 30-year-old Chicagoan named Elias Rodriguez. According to officials interviewed by local media, a man was seen walking near the Jewish Museum in Washington before opening fire, hitting a man and a woman. The suspect reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” during the arrest.
