Kiev leader on missiles in Poland makes a partial U-turn: "I don't know what happened""It is necessary to increase the pressure on Russia."
With these words , Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the participants of the Bloomberg New Economy Forum , as he reports on Telegram.
«Peace in Ukraine is a global need – he said -. I emphasize: it is not a temporary pause, not an illusion of peace with which Russia is trying to prepare a new phase of aggression , but true peace. I know it can be achieved. But for this we must preserve global unity and continue to support our fight for freedom."
According to Moscow, however, Kiev has no intention of negotiating.
"One thing is clear: the Ukrainian side does not want any negotiations - said Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitri Peskov, quoted by the Interfax agency - The special military operation continues and its objectives must be achieved".
He then did not hesitate to point the finger at Washington, which "if it wishes" is able "to exert influence over Kiev, making it more flexible".
While tension is decreasing over the affair of the missiles that fell in Poland , Zelensky says he "doesn't know what happened" : a partial reversal of direction given that until yesterday Ukraine denied that the fallen rocket was Ukrainian, a conclusion I draw instead the USA, Poland and NATO arrived.
