Two people were killed overnight in a Russian attack on a residential area in Odessa , southern Ukraine. Regional authorities announced the news today, hours after the start of a truce agreed to mark Orthodox Easter.

“Two more injured people are currently in hospital” and “civilian infrastructure has suffered extensive damage” , in particular buildings, a university residence and a kindergarten, added Serhii Lysak, head of the military administration of the Odessa region, a large port city on the Black Sea regularly targeted by Moscow.
