Talks between the US and Iran are struggling to get going again . Donald Trump has once again canceled the American negotiating team's mission to Pakistan. "If they want to talk, they can call us; we have the cards in our hands," the US president said, also complaining of "confusion over leadership in Tehran."
Tehran's comments were delivered to Pakistan by Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi, who then left for a tour with the mediating countries, first to Muscat and then to Moscow. After the delay, however, the tycoon announced that Iran sent a new proposal. "It's better, but it's not enough," Trump added.
The cancellation of the mission is yet another sign that the two sides are far from reaching an agreement, despite the White House speaking of "progress" on Friday.
