Donald Trump obtains a partial but substantial victory in the appeal on the 464 million bail to be paid for the inflated assets scam: the judges of second instance have established that he will have to deposit 175 million dollars within 10 days, instead of 464.

The New York Court of Appeals decided for the reduction. Positive news for the former US president, which arrived at the last minute and without the tycoon having managed to find an insurance company willing to cover the guarantee.

Failure to pay could have led to the seizure of his assets by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

If the tycoon loses the second degree trial, however, he will still have to pay the entire $454 million.

But to ruin the good news for Trump was another decision: the trial will begin on April 15 for the accusation of having illegally paid the porn star Stormy Daniels and the former Playboy bunny Karen McDougal so that they would not reveal during his previous election campaign and the relationships he had had with them.

“The corrupt judges don't want him to campaign,” thundered the Republican magnate, running for the US presidential elections next autumn.
