A 37-year-old woman has died and her 11-year-old daughter is hospitalized in serious condition in hospital along with four other injured people after a truck hit a group of pedestrians in Passau, a city near the border with Austria.
It happened just before 10 in the morning, in the center, near the train station.
From what we learn, it could have been an accident, due to a sudden illness of the driver of the vehicle, a 63-year-old, who was also taken to hospital.
The police, who arrived on site after the alarm was raised together with health personnel and firefighters, are investigating the episode.
