Four people, including two small children, died in the fire of an occupied building which went up in flames this morning in Barcelona.

This was announced by the firefighters of the Catalan city.

According to what was disclosed to the Spanish media by the foreman of the firefighters who intervened on the spot, the four victims were still alive when the firefighters arrived. However, the emergency services could not avoid the tragedy.

The two minors were a child of a few months and one of three years.

The burnt property is a former bank office, occupied by several people, located in Tetuán square. Four other people were cared for for inhaling smoke.
