Bad surprise for Tom Hanks. His mansion in Los Angeles was burgled. Someone, in broad daylight, broke a window and entered the annex of the 26 million dollar property that the Oscar-winning actor for "Philadelphia" and "Forrest Gump" owns with his wife and colleague of Greek-Bulgarian origins Rita Wilson.

The two were out of town. The alarm was triggered but the thieves had time to take away various objects.

In recent months, episodes of this type have been very frequent. The area most targeted is in the San Fernando Valley, north of the Californian metropolis, where many celebrities have moved because the spaces are immense and the isolation is guaranteed.

On July 16, hooded thieves terrorized the family of rapper and music producer Blxsby, breaking into his Encino mansion in the middle of the night. The musician was on tour and received a call from his young son who said: "I think there are bad guys in the house." The next day, criminals entered the home of rapper and OnlyFans star Bhad Bhabie, ransacking her closet and securing a rich haul of luxury bags and jewelry. On July 4, actor and comedian Marlon Wayans told fans on Instagram that burglars had broken into his home during the night.

For now, the Los Angeles Police Department has not announced any arrests in connection with this series of burglaries that are terrorizing the city's celebrities. The investigators did not even specify whether they consider the complaints linked to each other or not.
