At the large Unsilence Forum, the Euro-Mediterranean meeting that is currently bringing together hundreds of Palestine activists in the Catalan city , a theme that many international participants were still unaware of emerges forcefully: the RWM case in Sardinia.

The meeting, dedicated to denouncing genocide, war, rearmament, and authoritarian tendencies, was born, as the organizers explain, thirty years after the broken promises of the Euromed process, to build common actions and break political and industrial complicities in the Mediterranean.

Among the voices that attracted the most attention was that of the Sardinian delegation: Ennio Cubeddu, Eleonora Camba, and Simone Garau, members of the "Stop RWM" campaign and the Global Sumud Flotilla network. Before an international audience, the three presented the entire dossier on the Domusnovas armaments plants.

"After a general presentation," Cubeddu explains, "we explained the ethical, environmental, and urban planning reasons why we're asking the Region to reject the ex post environmental impact assessment (EIA) with which RWM intends to remediate the expansions already completed."

The activist emphasizes that the section dedicated to the production of killer drones, made in Sardinia under license from the Israeli Uvision Ltd., particularly attracted great surprise and attention.

Camba and Garau, "with impeccable English," completed the picture by presenting the RWM dossier in detail, strengthening the international framework of a battle that "until now many participants were unaware of."

Tomorrow, at the end of the Forum, a joint Euro-Mediterranean campaign for Palestine will be launched, set to develop over the coming months and accompanied by new events and mobilizations.
