The health conditions of Pope Francis still remain precarious, having been struck in recent days by lung inflammation which has caused him some breathing difficulties .

This morning the Pontiff, in the Paul VI Hall for the general audience, decided not to read the catechesis and to entrust the task to one of his collaborators. "I'm still not well, with this gripe" (flu in Spanish, ed.), and "my voice isn't good", he specified.

Just in the last few hours Bergoglio had also announced that he was forced, due to illness, to give up at the last minute the trip to Dubai scheduled for Friday to Sunday.

«Although the general clinical picture of the Holy Father in relation to the state of influenza and inflammation of the respiratory tract has improved», they explained from the Holy See, the doctors have requested «the Pope not to make the trip scheduled for the next few days to Dubai, on the occasion of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change". Pope Francis " accepted the doctors' request with great regret and the trip is therefore cancelled ", the conclusion.
