New "religious guidelines" for the media of Afghanistan.
In the document, the Taliban call on television channels to "stop broadcasting shows and soap operas with actresses" and journalists "to wear Islamic hijab while presenting their reports".
The new directives on television were issued by the ministry for the promotion of virtue and the prevention of vice.
TVs are also asked not to broadcast films or programs showing the Prophet Mohammed or other figures worshiped by Islam.
"These - said the spokesman of the ministry Hakif Mohajir - are not rules, but only religious guidelines".
