Steel and Aluminum: Trump's 50% US Tariffs Are Coming
New tariffs effective midnight, affecting imports from around the world

The Trump administration's new 50% tariffs on aluminum and steel imports from the rest of the world went into effect at midnight (6:00 a.m. EDT).
The US president's trade war is thus widening, in a move that is set to fuel tensions with the country's main economic partners.
Trump signed the executive order yesterday increasing these tariffs from 25% to 50%.
