New details on the bloody story that starred Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin, who shot and killed on the set the director of photography of the film “Rust”, Halyna Hutchins, 42, and wounded the director, Joel Souza, 48.

According to TMZ, the weapon had been used for play outside the Santa Fe set with live bullets by some members of the crew: that's why real ammunition, along with blank ones, were on the set - which is absolutely forbidden - and they were found by the police.

The gunsmith in the early twenties also ends up in the storm Hannah Gutierrez Reed, who in the past had become the protagonist of controversial episodes, such as when she gave a gun in the hand of an actress of only 11 years without special controls or instructions. The "Rust" crew noticed her lack of caution in handling guns and reported her to assistant director Dave Halls, the one who handed the gun to Baldwin and yelled "cold gun".

Halls himself, however, would have been the subject of complaints for his behavior on set during two productions in 2019, in particular for a certain disregard for the safety protocols for the use of weapons and fireworks.

BALDWIN'S POSITION - As for Baldwin, the actor seems at the moment cleared of the worst accusation, that of having acted voluntarily: there is not the slightest proof that he knew that the gun was loaded.

However, he risks civil action, being one of the largest producers of “Rust”, a low-cost film with a budget of only 7 million dollars. "I don't hold Alec Baldwin responsible. The responsibility lies with the gunsmiths who handle the guns," said Anatoly Androsovych, the father of victim Halyna Hutchins, ready to fly to the United States with his wife to offer support to his 8-year-old grandson. The baby, along with Hutchins' dad and husband Matthew Hutchins, is already in New Mexico. The two were seen together with Baldwin: with him they participated in a small private ceremony in memory of the woman.
