New shipwreck in the Mediterranean waters. Yesterday evening, Tunisian Coast Guard patrol boats recovered 20 bodies of sub-Saharan migrants aboard a vessel that sank about 13 miles off the coast of Ellouza, in the governorate of Sfax.
They had left the coast of Chebba (Mahdia) at 11pm on Tuesday evening.
The National Guard leadership announced this, specifying that the same units rescued five migrants who were on the same vessel.
According to the same source, the search operations for the missing are still ongoing.
