New episode of high tension between Russia and NATO.
Romania has in fact raised the alarm about a possible violation of its airspace by Moscow's drones.
The alert was triggered in the area of Tulcea and Galati, where residents were "alerted", reports the Ministry of Defense. Which adds: «The radar surveillance system indicated a possible unauthorized entry into the national airspace, with a signal detected on a route towards the municipality of Galati».
The same ministry, in a note, reports that so far no objects appear to have fallen on Romanian territory, but the searches will continue.
Around midnight, residents of Galati and Tulcea, which overlook the port of Reni in southern Ukraine across the Danube, received an alert urging them to take shelter.
The warning measures were lifted about two hours later.
