Kate smiled and applauded alongside her husband , Prince William, at the Festival of Remembrance memorial concert at London's Royal Albert Hall.
The musical event is one of the most important dates in the royal calendar, along with the more solemn ceremony at the Cenotaph memorial, both in honour of Britain's war dead.
Kate and William were joined on the royal box by King Charles III , who is still undergoing treatment for his cancer diagnosis.
Buckingham Palace announced in February that Charles, 75, had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and would step back from public life for treatment. The following month , Kate, 42, revealed that she too had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing preventative chemotherapy.
