Scandals after scandals for Boris Johson. The latest comes from the pages of the Telegraph which, exclusively, tells of an alcohol-based party that took place the evening before Prince Philip's funeral in Downing Strett, where the prime minister's staff met, in full lockdown , to greet James Slack, the head of communications. It was April 16, 2021 and the next day the whole world would see the images of the queen sitting alone in the church, at her husband's funeral.

According to the Telegraph, councilors and public officials would have gathered after work on two occasions, on April 16 last year, to say goodbye to Slack, and also to say goodbye to one of the prime minister's personal photographers. On both occasions there would be no shortage of alcohol and witnesses would tell of people drinking and dancing late into the night. In addition, a member of the staff would be sent to a nearby supermarket with a suitcase to be filled with bottles of wine.

In the morning, the premier, through his spokesperson, officially apologized to Buckingham Palace for the two parties, thus indirectly confirming what was relaunched by the Telegraph.
