"Evil Defeated by the Hand of God": Controversy Over Trump MP's Post on the Pope
Republican (and Christian) Taylor Greene's "conspiracy" message sparks outcry

Controversy in the US over the post published on social media by Representative Taylor Greene, a Republican and supporter of President Donald Trump, following the death of Pope Francis.
"There have been great changes in global leadership today. Evil is being defeated by the hand of God," the message written on X by the American congresswoman.
A post – that gave voice to the far-right Maga (Make America Great Again) world that disagrees with Francis on issues such as immigration. Hundreds of protests from followers of the congresswoman, who professes to be a Christian.
