Yesterday Vladimir Putin held talks throughout the day with those responsible for the military campaign in Ukraine.

The meetings were attended, among others, by Defense Minister Sergej Shoigu, the Chief of Staff Valeri Gerassimov and various military commanders, whom the Russian president heard separately.

" I'd like to hear your proposals on the actions to be taken in the short and medium term ," Putin said during the meeting that the Kremlin announced this morning in a statement.

"On Friday - reads the note - the president spent the whole day with the military leaders involved in the special military operation". Excerpts from the meeting were shown on public television.

Just yesterday a hail of missiles hit various areas of Ukraine, including Kiev where the alarm for air raids was sounded again this morning .

Dozens of missiles were launched yesterday on the capital, which left citizens cold, without electricity and without water. Mayor Vitali Klitscho said today that all residents have regained access to water after yesterday's outages. On the other hand, heating has been restored to only half of the city, while electricity has been returned to two thirds of the population .

"Emergency outage programs are being implemented, the electricity deficit is significant," stressed the mayor.

And throughout the country today work is being done to restore electricity at least in hospitals.
