Pelé in hospital, new cycle of anti-cancer therapies
The state of health of the 81-year-old former footballer remains "good and stable"
New hospitalization for Pele. The former Brazilian champion is in hospital since Monday in Sao Paulo to perform one of the monthly courses of colon cancer treatment discovered last September.
The health status of 81-year-old Edson Arantes do Nascimento is "good and stable, and he is expected to leave hospital in the next few days," Albert Einstein Hospital said in a statement.
Pele must visit the clinic at least once a month to undergo tests and continue treatment for colon cancer.
