Minibus crashes into an escarpment, ten victims

There are at least ten victims of a terrible accident in Peru.

A minibus crashed into an escarpment in the Amazonas region while traveling between the towns of Chachapoyas and Moyobamba.

The vehicle of the company "Cruz Hermanos" for reasons to be ascertained overturned along a steep descent of the Fernando Belaunde Terry highway, in the province of Bongará, went off the road and ended up in the 300 meter deep escarpment.

Rescuers encountered many difficulties in reaching the minibus, managed to rescue seven injured passengers, some in serious condition, and to recover 10 lifeless people.
