Mexico: the roof of a church collapses, including a newborn among the victims
The entire roof of the building collapsedNine dead, 50 injured and 20 missing. It is the latest toll after the accident that occurred in Ciudad Madero, in north-eastern Mexico, where the ceiling of a church collapsed.
Rescuers' activities are underway to recover the people left under the rubble of the parish where a baptism was about to be celebrated. Among the victims there is also a newborn baby.
The entire roofing vault gave way.
