The Los Angeles police have arrested the "serial killer of homeless people" , who committed three murders in just a few days on the streets of the Californian metropolis.

This is Jerrid Joseph Powell, 33 years old. The man was arrested after yet another crime: he shot and killed a man during a home robbery.

While he was in custody, more in-depth investigations were carried out and investigators managed to link the 33-year-old to the murders of the three homeless people.

What framed him, in addition to images from video surveillance cameras, was the weapon that was found in his car, which was the same one used to fatally attack the homeless.
