Meanwhile, according to Axios, Zelensky's national security adviser and chief negotiator, Rustem Umerov, has sent Ukraine's response to Jared Kushner, Trump's advisor and son-in-law, regarding the draft peace plan with Russia.

A Ukrainian official, Axios reports, said the response included comments and proposed changes "to make it all feasible."

The Ukrainians sent their response to the United States after several days of consultations with their European allies, primarily the E3 (France, Germany, and the United Kingdom). The Ukrainian official said that the Ukrainian response includes new ideas on how to address sticking points such as the territory and the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant.
