An 18-year-old boy was arrested for the death of Diego Damis, the Italian stabbed to death in Chicago on his way home from work.
His name is Keante McShan: the young man, Fox reports, crossed paths with Damis who had just left the place where the 41-year-old Italian worked as a bartender. He then stabbed him several times before stealing his wallet, cash and credit card. Card that was used to buy cigarettes.
"They caught Diego's killer. The investigators were very good," commented Laura Damis, sister of the victim who is now in the US. Laura also reported that her other brother, Andrea, will soon leave Chicago and will return to Bagnaia, the town about ten kilometers from Perugia where he lives.
Last Friday and Saturday in the neighborhood where the murder took place, Diego's friends and acquaintances organized a torchlight procession and a commemoration in memory of the young man, who had lived in Chicago since 2015.
