Well-known Iranian actress Haniyeh Tavassoli was released on bail today, after a day of detention, taken for her Instagram post featuring an image of Mahsa Amini, with the caption: "Innocence, youth, beauty and pure blood, she was born a legend. Mahsa is immortal."

Tavassoli was also forced to deactivate her Instagram page. On Saturday, many Iranians marked the first anniversary of Mahsa Amini's death with street demonstrations in several cities. Former wrestler and head of the Iranian Wrestling Federation Rasoul Khadem was also forced to deactivate his Instagram page for posting Mahsa's image, with a caption condemning his killers. Leila Naghdi Pari, a member of the Association of Film Production Designers, arrested and released last December for publishing images of herself bareheaded, was arrested again yesterday and taken to an unknown location.

Two women's and children's rights activists, Samaneh Asghani and Sheida Saberi, were also among those arrested yesterday. The latter was arrested while she was in a square in the city of Yasouj, holding a sign in memory of Mahsa Amini.

Human rights activists' news agency Hrana said at least 292 protesters, civil activists, artists and students had been arrested in several cities over the past 50 days to suppress protests over the anniversary. Furthermore, at least 44 family members of those killed or executed during last year's protests have been summoned, arrested or ordered not to leave the country during this period.
