A more restrictive abortion law has been passed in Oklahoma.
Republican Governor Kevin Stitt has signed a provision that prohibits the termination of pregnancy from fertilization and allows private citizens to sue those who practice or induce it "knowingly" .
Thus abortion is prohibited at any stage of pregnancy, except for medical emergencies or when it results from rape, incest and sexual assault.
Just at the beginning of May, "Politico" released the scoop on the Supreme Court of the United States , ready to vote to cancel the 1973 law that guarantees the right to abortion .
In a draft written by Judge Samuel Alito there is a "total and firm" repudiation of the historic “Roe vs Wade” sentence, which guaranteed federal constitutional protection of the right to abortion. The four Republican-nominated judges - Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett - voted with Alito.
The news sparked controversy and protests across the United States.
