In his 20s, he massacres five people, including three children, with a rifle and katana

The 20-year-old who barricaded himself in a house in Douvres, Ain department, after killing five of his family, including three children, was killed by French special forces. He was armed with a rifle and a katana.

The Gign agents went into action after the negotiators tried to get in touch with the young man for a whole night, finally the final assault was launched which ended with the killing of the killer.

French law enforcement did not provide details as to why the 20-year-old took action.
