Prince Harry is increasingly distant from the royal family.

The brother of the heir to the throne has formalized the renunciation of his British residence in a document published by the Sun tabloid: thus shadows are cast on the hopes of rapprochement with the Windsors in a very difficult moment for the dynasty dealing with the illness of King Charles and Kate's.

In the document filed this week at Companies House, the UK company register, the Duke of Sussex indicated the date of change of his status as 29 June last year , the day on which he and his wife Meghan had to leave the residence of Frogmore Cottage, on the royal estate of Windsor, where they stayed in the rare periods on the island, following the "eviction" decided by the sovereign. A de facto inevitable transition, after the 2020 rift with the Royal Family and the subsequent move to California.

Harry would have thus inserted that date to send a strong signal to his father but also to his brother William, with whom relations have been conflicting for some time , underlining how the eviction has in fact forced him to concentrate his life in the USA, without having a point of support in the Kingdom.

Harry's quick visit to London in February when his father Carlo had announced that he was struggling with cancer of an unspecified nature. Then last month the Sussexes telephoned William and Kate, after the touching video of March 22 in which the Princess of Wales revealed that she had cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy, to express words of comfort and solidarity. Harry is expected soon in the Kingdom, to participate in the tenth anniversary ceremony of the Invictus Games in the capital on May 8th.
