A 6.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded late yesterday evening in Bosnia and Herzegovina where it caused at least one victim, numerous injuries and several collapses.

According to local media, a young woman from Stolac, a town closest to the epicenter of the earthquake identified in Liubinje, lost her life. She was at home when she was buried in the rubble: transported to the hospital in Mostar, the injuries proved too serious and the woman died shortly after.

Many people spent the night outdoors after spilling out onto the street in terror of hearing buildings shake.
