Tense moments erupted outside the Sion courthouse, where questioning continued regarding the Crans-Montana tragedy . Jacques and Jessica Moretti appeared in court, escorted by police and in the presence of their lawyers.
However, the arrival of the owners of the Constellation provoked a reaction from the victims' families, who attacked the Morettis, even attempting to assault them. Shoving, shouting, and even a dramatic exchange between the mother of one of the victims, who reportedly shouted: " You're the mafia, you paid 200,000 francs and it's over . How do you sleep at night? Where is my son?"
"There's no mafia, I'm a worker," Jacques Moretti replied. "I'm sorry, we'll take responsibility, we're here for justice."
Jacques Moretti, questioned yesterday (11 February), reiterated his position, maintaining that if the premises were not up to standard, the responsibility would fall on the institutions that had not carried out the necessary checks.
