The alleged killer of Charlie Kirk, the highly followed ultra-conservative activist killed during a debate at Utah Valley University on September 10, has been arrested.

This is a 22-year-old student, Tyler Robinson , a resident of Utah, who was recently awarded a $32,000 national scholarship to Utah State University.

The rifle with which the young man opened fire on Kirk was also found, with some bullets bearing slogans such as "Bella ciao" and "Hey fascist" written on them.

The arrest was announced by President Donald Trump , who explained in an interview with Fox that the killer of the influencer and champion of the Maga movement, very close to the president and his family, was convinced to turn himself in to the authorities by his father, "a man of faith".

In the same interview, Trump said he hoped the killer would be tried as soon as possible and sentenced to the death penalty.
