“A Window on the Universe – Artemis II Special” is a fascinating and accessible television journey that takes audiences inside one of the most anticipated missions of the new space age: the return of man to the Moon with NASA’s Artemis II program.
Leading the narrative is Manuel Floris, a popularizer and authoritative voice at L'Unione Sarda's Planetarium, who leads viewers through science, technology, and the future of human space exploration. Using official images produced by NASA during the Artemis II mission, the program alternates spectacular visuals with clear and engaging explanations, making even the most complex topics understandable. Today's guests include astrophysicist Patrizia Caraveo, research director at INAF and President of the Italian Astronomical Society; and physicist Paolo Ferri, formerly of the European Space Agency (ESA), where he headed the space operations department.
