Ukraine's Anti-Corruption Agency (NABU) has announced a new corruption investigation into a case allegedly involving Kyiv MPs. NABU officials attempted to enter the parliament building to conduct searches but were stopped by security services.

"Nabu and Sapo, following an undercover operation, exposed an organized criminal group that included several current members of parliament," NABU stated. "State Security Department employees are resisting NABU officers during investigative actions" in Parliament, it added. "Obstructing investigative activities constitutes a direct violation of the law," NABU warned.

According to reports, several parliamentarians accepted bribes in exchange for votes.

The new case has erupted as President Volodymyr Zelensky is traveling to the United States, where he will meet with Donald Trump tomorrow.
