There are at least three dead, but it is a provisional balance, of an accident that occurred on a stretch of road in Pueblo Rico, Colombia.

In the territory of the department of Risaralda a landslide fell on the roadway of the state road that connects Cali to Quibdó and swept over a bus and other vehicles. In addition to the confirmed victims, there are currently 20 missing.

Civil Protection, the Fire Brigade and the Red Cross are working on the spot for relief and to recover any survivors buried under earth and stones.

“Right from the start we made all possible efforts to save alive the people buried by the landslide in Pueblo Rico – writes President Gustavo Petro on Twitter -. Nine people have been rescued, three dead, and it is estimated that more than 20 missing people remain to be found. It's a tragedy."
