Maximum alert in East Timor, in Southeast Asia, due to the tsunami warning launched after the earthquake that occurred in these hours. The magnitude was 6.3 as confirmed by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology.

The epicenter was at a depth of 68 km around Lospalos.

The anomalous wave caused by the earthquake could hit the Indian Ocean region.
