Dinamo Women playing poker never stops. Virtus Bologna, vice-leader of the women's Serie A, also falls at the PalaSerradimigni: 74-69.

The team coached by Restivo played a truly amazing match in terms of intensity, capable of coming back from -10 in the second quarter and playing a great last quarter. Top scorers were Joens with 19 points, Hollingshead with 18, Raca with 13, but Toffolo (8 points and great defense) and the usual Carangelo were also decisive.

Match that starts with the defenses prevailing over the attacks: 0-3 after three minutes. Carangelo's triple unlocks Dinamo. Two triples from Cox for Virtus who then extends up to +9 thanks also to a very physical defense that concedes very little.

Bologna makes good use of its greater size in almost all roles: 13-26 in the 13th minute. Sassari reacts with a 7-0 run where Toffolo shines. Joens and Kaczmarczyk hit threes and narrow the gap to just one basket. Virtus resists and regains the lead by double figures: 29-39 in the 19th minute. Hollingshead wakes up and at halftime the game is still wide open: 36-41.

Upon returning after the break, Restivo's team wasted the overtaking action twice, but made an impact in the 25th minute with a mid-range basket from Hollingshead and an additional free throw: 45-45. And he overtakes with a cut from Kaczmarczyk. Bologna reacts and goes ahead again with a bomb from Consolini. The Sassari team plays very well with cuts.

The last quarter begins with triples from Carangelo and Hollingshead making it 60-54. It also goes +8 in the 33rd minute with Holligshead warming his hand in the shot from outside. Virtus gets closer only because the hosts miss a few too many free throws: 69-65 in the 37th minute. At 41 seconds a dubious foul was called in favor of Peters who only converted a free throw: 71-67. Instead Raca makes 2/3 from the line and closes the game.
