White night, shopping, music and tastings: everything is ready in Sennori for "Christmas in Carrela"
The opening of the Santa Claus village is also scheduled
Sennori is getting ready for " Natale in Carrela ", the white night promoted by the municipality this Christmas festivities and scheduled for Saturday 17 December. Tomorrow 16 December, at 4.30 pm, the opening of the “ Village of Santa Claus ” will anticipate the evening of shopping, music and tastings in the streets of the town.
Also tomorrow will be inaugurated the exhibition of nativity scenes made by the students of the Sennori comprehensive school, organized by the Pro Loco.
Saturday will open with " Maleficent" , a show with projections created by Danza Estemporada, at the Cultural Center, followed by entertainment and face painting . From 7 pm in Piazzale D'Annunzio, space for music with emerging local bands, DJ sets and many stands to refresh yourself and buy products.
The party continues through the streets of the centre, closed to car traffic to leave room for fun: the bars will offer typical dishes of Senno cuisine and live music . The novelty of this year will be the synergy between Osilo and Sennori, with the combination between the Sennori cellars and the mini dairies of Osilo, united in the name of taste, between music and shows that will animate the Christmas Markets, the "German style" markets set up on Saturdays and Sundays, from 4.30 pm, in the square of the cultural center with Germanic specialties such as Bratwurst, Potato cake and Mulled Wine.
Sunday 18 the program of appointments winks at the little ones with the cinema in the Auditorium of the Cultural Center, at 4.30pm. On Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th December meeting with music: the concerts of the Istituto Comprensivo di Sennori will still be held in the Auditorium of the cultural centre. After Christmas, on Friday 30 December, the Città di Sennori polyphonic choir will present the third “ Tonino Rubattu choir review ”, which will take place in the parish of San Basilio Magno at 8 pm, under the artistic direction of maestro Francesco Santino Scognamillo . Closing the program of events will be the Great Befana Festival , on January 6, 2023 at the Cultural Center.

The energy crisis has deprived us of Christmas lights and we didn't want this to cloud the joy of the children» comments the deputy mayor and councilor for Culture, Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Sennori. «This year we are very happy to kick off a project that brings the communities of Osilo and Sennori together, with a collaboration that will continue over time and which, at the behest of the two municipal administrations, will create paths for the promotion of food and wine tourism for valorise local products and the territory».
