Sergio Massidda climbs on the highest step of the podium at the junior European Championships in progress in Albania .

The blue from Ghilarza triumphs in the category up to 61 kg, with a total of 280 kg: for him also the tear-off gold with 125 kg, and the momentum gold with 155 kg.

An encore for Massidda, already three times Youth and Junior World Champion , who last year had conquered the continental title in Finland with the same total kg (126 + 154).

The Sardinian athlete competes for himself: in the snatch he climbs the platform last with 125 kg, with his opponents back by 5 kg. On the other hand, the other two tests at 131 and 132 do not go. Same process in the momentum: with the Greek Konstantinos Lampridis, the best of his opponents, stopped at 143 kg, Massidda enters the race declaring 148 kg. The first ones were wrong, but the second attempt did not fail, and then put himself to the test with 155, lifted up with class and technique.

The blue medal table thus rises to 10 (7 golds + 3 bronzes), after only 4 matches for the Azzurri.
