Volotea, tickets on sale: the first flights tomorrow at 7, from Monday up to 266 trips a week

From 1pm today, air tickets for the connections in territorial continuity from the three airports in Sardinia - Alghero, Cagliari and Olbia - with the hubs of Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate can be booked on the Volotea website and app.
Tickets can be purchased online at ticket offices or through travel agencies. The prices foreseen for public service obligations and reserved for residents (but also for business travelers, explained Councilor Todde) are 39 euros (excluding taxes) for flights to the capital and 47 (always excluding taxes) for the Lombard capital.
The company makes it known in a note that from Friday 15 - the day on which the new service of subsidized flights for residents in Sardinia will start - to Sunday 17 October, the airports of Alghero, Cagliari and Olbia will be connected with Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino with 2 daily frequencies for each route.
Starting from Monday 18 October, Volotea's territorial continuity management will be fully operational, up to a maximum of 266 flights every week between Sardinia and the mainland. The service expires on May 14, 2022.
The first flights under territorial continuity will take off tomorrow, Friday 15 October, at 7.00 and 19.00 from Alghero, Cagliari and Olbia with destination Milan Linate. For Rome Fiumicino, it will depart at 7.15 am and 7.15 pm from Alghero and Olbia and at 7.20 am and 7.15 pm from Cagliari.
From Milan Linate there are connections to Alghero at 8.40 and 20.40, to Cagliari at 8.55 and at 20.55 and to Olbia at 8.50 and 20.50. From Rome Fiumicino flights are available to Alghero and Olbia at 8.50 and 20.50, while to Cagliari at 9.00 and 20.55. The times refer only to the first three days, new frequencies will be added starting from Monday 18 October.
