Breakthrough on the rules for air transport to and from Sardinia under territorial continuity. From 7 December Volotea will also host unaccompanied minors on board: those aged between 5 and 13 will therefore be able to travel more easily to and from the island. “To authorize boarding - explains the company -, in addition to the identity card or passport of the minor, it will be necessary to present a release signed by the parents, downloadable from the site, in which you agree to the transport of the minor. The personal details of the person who will accompany and pick up the minor passenger at the airport must also be indicated in the document ".
The service, valid only on flights in continuity regime, can be booked through the website or at the toll-free number 800593877. Up to a maximum of 2 unaccompanied minors can embark on each flight.
“We are happy to announce the launch of the service for unaccompanied minors - says Valeria Rebasti, Country Manager Italy & Southeastern Europe at Volotea -. From 7 December, all children between the ages of 5 and 13 traveling alone with Volotea will be under the constant and careful supervision of our staff, both on board and at the airport. During all stages of the journey, our cabin crews will guarantee our youngest passengers a safe and enjoyable flight. We hope that this new service, available exclusively on flights with territorial continuity, will allow even easier travel for the little ones and their families ".
