Violent hailstorm hits Desulo, while temperatures in Sardinia remain above 30 degrees.

From 31.8 degrees Celsius in Palmas Arborea to hail in Desulo, Sardinia has a mixed weather outlook this afternoon.

While highs are already hovering above 30 degrees at the end of May (31.6 in Ottana and 31.4 in Orani, in the Nuoro area), a violent hailstorm hit the mountains, in the Tascusì area, and whitened the streets.

But the disturbance was not isolated.

Severe thunderstorms were also recorded in other hyperlocalized areas, such as Goceano, Meilogu and Logudoro.

Tomorrow, Sunday, is expected to be "clear or partly cloudy with local afternoon cloud cover over the mountains, accompanied by light showers in the southern part of the island. Temperatures: slight increase in highs in inland areas. Winds: breeze."
