After two years, the sea festival returns to Villaputzu, destined to attract the attention of thousands of tourists and vacationers. Organize the Pro Loco with the collaboration of the Municipality.
Rich program of events, expected from 14 to 16 August . Sunday opens the market exhibition of crafts and agro-food of south-eastern Sardinia hosted in the marina of Porto Corallo. Also scheduled live music with Fantafolk with Andrea Pisu and Vanni Masala in concert. There will be spaces for tastings for the delight of the finest palates: frying fish and the tasting of ravioli and malloreddus are scheduled.
On Monday there is still space for the market exhibition , the sampling of the malloreddus alla Campidanese and music with the Zona Trap with the "Anonymus Sound Evenless". Tuesday, the highlight of the great festival with the celebration of the Madonna del Mare. Mass is expected at 6.30 pm, then the procession to the sea with the Madonna carried with a boat followed by fishing boats and other boats. As always, it will be a moment of great, strong, intense emotion. The sea here is life, wealth, fishing, tourism, economy. An appointment that wants to be of thanks to the Madonna. At the marina there will still be a tasting of frying, malloreddus and ravioli and much more.
Meanwhile, in the context of the Summer events in Villaputzu, wanted by the Municipality and local associations, tomorrow in Piazza Marconi, at 8 pm, the sheep and "Sa panada" festival is scheduled. So far the magical moment, as well as the festivals on typical local products, was that of last August 7 with the extraordinary Launeddas Concert. The feast of San Giovanni Battista is scheduled for the next few weeks, as well as padel, basketball and volleyball tournaments.
