Lulù Oliveira, the unforgettable goalscoring champion of Cagliari in the 1990s, recalls Gianluca Vialli. For some years, he left Muravera and Sardinia to coach a team in the amateur championship of Veneto. Muravera remained in his heart like his memories as a footballer.

One of the most beautiful, the first match played against Vialli. He hadn't arrived in Cagliari yet, he was playing in Belgium with Anderlecht. His team had earned the final of the 30th edition of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. It had been played on 9 May 1990 at the Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg against Sampdoria with Gianluca Vialli on the field. The match was refereed by the Swiss Bruno Galler. The Italian team won 2-0 after extra time with Vialli's brace.

"I remember that match. We met Vialli in this Cup final in Gothenburg: on the day he scored two goals and Sampdoria won the final. After two years I arrived at Cagliari where I had the opportunity to often play against him, appreciating his footballing skills, and getting to know the greatness of this man. Rest in peace Gianluca Vialli».
