Salvini and Meloni? "They create hate". A no vax? "Don't convince him, his head is like this."

Vasco Rossi has it for everyone, who during the presentation of his new album "We are here" does not shy away from questions about politics and current affairs.

Starting from the recent Forza Nuova attack on the CGIL headquarters: “There is a new right, it is very extremist. The right must be there and rightly so, but it must not be as dangerous as the one that is on the horizon. I make music and bring joy, instead there are people who blow the fire, who sow hatred and division ”.

He does not refer only to Forza Nuova, but also to the main leaders of the parliamentary right: "Salvini and Meloni use divisive tones, they only create hatred for getting consensus".

The words today "are used shamefully". And it refers to the cry “freedom, freedom”, which is heard during the demonstrations of the no Green pass: “Freedom is not that. Freedom makes sense when it is within a limit, otherwise it is chaos. We had already understood this in the '70s, I did not expect to go back as we are doing now, that we question things that were very clear to me ”.

Finally, the no vax: “The no vax thinks there is a conspiracy because everything must have a reason, does not accept that it is a coincidence but thinks that there must be something behind it. You can try to talk to him but you cannot convince him, he is already convinced of that and he needs to believe it because his head is like that ".

Vasco, on the other hand, believes in science: “If I have a toothache, I take a painkiller. I'm not going to talk to a holy man, you know my position, I forced anyone who came in front of my house to get his autograph to wear a mask ".
