Roberto Vannacci lands in Sardinia to present his book “Il mondo al contrario”.
The former general, now a member of the European Parliament for the League, is expected at 7 pm in Portoscuso, at the ancient tuna fishery of Su Pranu. The meeting is being organized by the cultural committee “Il mondo al contrario”.
Just in these hours Vannacci denied the rumors according to which he intended to leave the League to found his own political movement.
"They invented this thing that I want to found my own party. But I am faithful to the word I gave to Matteo Salvini," the former soldier told Corriere della Sera. Adding: "I deny it in the most absolute way. These are the people who want to sow discord between me and the League. What exists is an initially cultural movement, "The world in reverse," which is expanding, because there are more and more people who support me. First this movement followed a general, then a writer, now it follows a politician and is therefore changing its corporate name."
